Finding a Forever Home Book Launch
Molly has published a book!
Amidst the Trees is proud to be sponsoring the Mariah’s Way, Finding a Forever Home book launch. This wonderful book, written by Molly DePrekel and Mary Schoessler, is designed to help youth in trauma cope with challenging situations through a tender story about a foster dog, Mariah, and her journey to peace and belonging. Mariah’s Way helps the reader connect with Mariah’s emotions of fear and sadness along with seeing that there is hope as Mariah finds her way into a forever home and eventually becomes a therapy dog. Mariah’s Way includes a workbook with thought-provoking questions that can be used for therapeutic, classroom, or personal reflection purposes.
You can purchase a book when you attend an Amidst the Trees workshop or retreat or go online, AND join us for the book launch where you can network with others that work with youth, have a chance to win fun stuff, and tour the wonderful Helping Paws training center.

Yoga Nidra
Join us for a series of 4 Yoga Nidra evenings with Lisa and Molly online.
Yoga Nidra, commonly known as yogic sleep, is a practice to experience a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping states. Here, the physical body rests, but the brain wakes up and monitors the physical body. In other words, yoga nidra is mental sleep, sleep with full consciousness. It is said that 1 hour of yoga nidra equals 4 hours of sleep.
September Series
- Runs on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 pm online starting September 8th.
- Meets 8, 15, 22, 29
October Series
- Runs on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 pm online starting October 6th.
- Meets October 6, 13, 20, 27
November Series
- Runs on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 pm online starting November 3rd.
- Meets November 3, 10, 17, 24
Costs
- The cost is $48.00 per series.
- You will receive a zoom link to the virtual studio when you register.
- Payment: Guest checkout gives payers the option to complete a purchase using a credit or debit card without having a PayPal account!8
Drum Circle
Join us for our monthly drum circle!
When: The 3rd Friday of the Month at 7 pm.
Location: Check our Facebook page or Instagram for the location each month.
Cost: Is a 10-20 dollar donation at the door.
Each month will bring something new -a guided imagery, a journey of exploration, embodying a goal, sharing a dream, finding your guide, and always drumming. Find a community where your drum gets to speak and you can be in community as your true self.
